The model and package
Bosch lists a three-eighth-inch chuck, two speed ranges and 20+1 clutch settings. The PS31-2A package includes two 2.0Ah batteries, a charger, two screwdriver bits and a bag. It belongs to Bosch 12V Max, not the brand’s 18V system.
Picture the job
For assembling or adjusting furniture, start with the fastener and the product instructions. Check that the chosen bit fits properly and that the task is suitable for powered driving. A clutch setting is a control to learn from the manual, not an automatic guarantee against damaged material. Keep a manual screwdriver available where the furniture instructions or final adjustment call for one.
The ownership decision
Two included batteries can fit a rotate-and-charge routine, but that does not prove a particular runtime. Compare the kit by the complete contents and your expected use. The smaller chuck also deserves an explicit check: an accessory shank that needs a larger chuck is not made compatible by a favourable review. If you already own another battery system, include that duplication in the decision.
