A five-inch corded sander package with a canister and hose adapter to inspect as part of your finishing setup.

Consider it when a palm-style tool and a documented accessory package match the way you plan to support the work.

Bosch lists a 2.5-amp random-orbit sander with variable speed from 7,500 to 12,000 OPM. The ROS20VSC package includes a sanding disc, dust canister, VAC002 adapter and carrying bag. The specified supply is 120V AC, which matters when comparing regional listings.

For a small finishing project, start by identifying the surface and the preparation required by the finish instructions. Then check how you will secure the piece and connect dust collection. A supplied adapter is useful only if it matches the actual hose arrangement. Keep the dimensions and model numbers together rather than judging compatibility from a photograph.

The included bag and adapter make the package distinct from a bare-body price, but they do not settle the whole ownership cost. You still need the correct abrasives and any additional connection parts. If you are choosing between this and another palm sander, handle the controls if possible. Marketing descriptions of smoothness are not a substitute for a measured comparison or a sample made on your own material.

Verify the 120V regional model, the listed adapter and the abrasive attachment and hole pattern.

The canister is not a guarantee of complete dust capture, and the adapter may not fit every hose without other parts.
