A wide, two-sided tape for readers comparing controls and blade format before adding another measuring tool.

Consider it for a working toolkit where the finger-stop arrangement and scale orientation suit repeated measuring.

Milwaukee lists a 25-foot steel blade, double-sided printing and a finger-stop feature for the 48-22-9725. The stated blade width is 1-5/16 inches and the reach claim is 17 feet. STUD branding appears on other models, so the number matters.

A room project may involve measuring a horizontal opening, then a vertical storage space, then a piece of furniture. Check whether the scale orientation helps you keep those readings legible without twisting the tape. Also check the grip and carrying position. A wider tape can occupy more space in a small household kit, so its format should answer a repeated need.

Do not turn protective-coating claims into a promise that the tape can be treated carelessly. Inspect the hook and blade, follow the instructions and replace damaged equipment appropriately. Compare the exact 9725 with any newer STUD listing before ordering. If the retailer supplies another model, treat it as a separate comparison rather than assuming every feature carries over.

Verify 48-22-9725, the scale and included configuration; distinguish it from other STUD generations.

We have not verified comparative durability or measured the advertised reach ourselves.
