Urban Planning

What It’s Like Living Low Vision & Car-Free in the U.S. (Seattle) : urbanplanning

I feel so embarrassed, I just need one person to say yes so I know I’m not alone. I’ve been a planner for a few years so I’ve spoken at dozens of hearings with no problems but for some reason I just had a mini-panic attack while presenting a pretty minor item for a pretty minor board. It was definitely noticeable, I just stopped talking and felt my mouth go completely dry. I tried to keep going before a coworker bailed me out.

Ultimately it’s not a big deal but it certainly felt like it was in the moment. If you’ve had this happen, how do you bounce back?
